Tidy It Up ! attempts to solve the ever growing problem of System Folder clutter. It does so in a "cosmetic" way, i.e. by regrouping the icons according to a set of categories.
The program is very safe to use, since it doesn't patch anything and ultimately accomplishes automatically and painlessly what you could very well do manually if you are willing to spend the required time and effort.
Files are sorted alphabetically by name in each category.
A file's category is determined by its Type, Creator and name.
Tidy It Up ! creates one file per category, just to act as a label for it on the left hand side of the window. Each category name is preceded by a special token to allow easy grouping of categories when viewing them by name.
